Overview

The BKS HV is a ground control station based on a 20-foot ISO container, mounted on an all-terrain 6×6 carrier vehicle. Inside the container, two operators – a pilot and a sensor operator – work with dockable and removable monitor systems. An integrated generator, a UPS for emergency operation, air conditioning and an auxiliary heater support continuous operation; the system is designed for demanding climatic conditions.

Role in the integrated system

The BKS HV serves as the stationary command element of the integrated system: mission planning, flight control and analysis come together here. The antenna mast system extends the communications link beyond the immediate site.

Mobile case solution

INFINTEQ software & control architecture

Unified. Secure. Interoperable.

The same software foundation runs on every ground control station. Control of an aircraft can be handed over between stations, and one station can control several UAVs.

Applications

Integrated operation

Container on the carrier vehicle, antenna mast on the trailer, operated from the workstations inside the container.

Remote operation

The mast can be deployed up to 2 km away and connected via a fibre-optic link. This allows for better antenna positioning and reduces the signature of the main station.

Two operator workstations

Mission planning, flight control and sensor control side by side – plus storage for drone systems, equipment and a dedicated maintenance area.

Round-the-clock operation

Air conditioning, auxiliary heating, two berths and a dimmable white/red lighting system support continuous operation.

Example configurations

* The configurations shown are examples. Systems and components are configured on a project-specific basis to meet technical and operational requirements.
